It is a slow action rod, for a nice and easy casting style that allows for precision and finesse. I envision this as a small stream, dry fly rod - thinking maybe brook trout and sunfish. See the pictures for the rod’s actual weight, and case length and weight. Should be a great rod to travel with.
The handle and the reel seat are made from cedar rings and covered in lacquer. Includes hook keeper and rod sock. The wraps pop against the blue blank, and the wraps have a little maroon sparkle that seems to match the handle and real seat. REEL NOT INCLUDED.
