Handcrafted Graphite Fly Rod with Handmade Mahogany and Maple Checkered Handle and Real Seat and Case - 9', 4 Piece, 3/4 Weight
UNIQUE - NooNRoo Blank, Graphite, 9’, 4 piece, 3/4 weight. I handcrafted this rod on a graphite blank bought from AliExpress so you get a beautiful rod and case at a reasonable price.
Moderately fast action, light and crisp/firm. This rod is a pleasure to cast.
The handle and the reel seat are made from mahogany and maple. I checkered the pattern and then turned the them. I have always been a fan of the older Fenwick fly rods so made/turned the handle in that style. It is covered in lacquer, includes hook keeper and rod sock. The wraps are black and copper and pop against the black blank. REEL NOT INCLUDED.
The case is included. I make my cases to fit very snug, so take your time getting the rod in and out. The case is standard plywood. The end caps are red palm. The handle is walnut.
